We listened to reports of this on a SW radio from Osh, 60 miles from where it was happening (https://www.flickr.com/photos/dunnet/25419750/) and still no-one really knows how many were killed. It was scary and that's a (historical) fact.
I’m not saying this is my favourite True Stories track, but it didn’t work on my mum's CD (yes, there were CDs in 1986) so it has rarity value - the other tracks were listened to death (and - is it a sousaphone?).
I’m somewhere between incredulous that this is a ‘thing', and impressed that 'months were spent hammering out details with Mr Bowie’s representatives’. Someone’s written a paper “Space Copyright Law: the new dimension” for gawd’s sake!
Ravelry’s a great resource, knitters (it hit 4 million users last year) and we get grumpy when you diss us - London 2012 would’ve been SO good if only the knitters of Ravelry hadn’t boycotted Team USA.
